June 10th Edition
There’s a game I love to play called “Make the Connection.” It’s played by finding out what 3 things all have in common. For example, Baseball, Greeting, Debit……and the answer is they are all “Cards.” Now that you know how to play, make the connection with New Years, the day you start your Vacation, and the last day of school. Have you figured it out yet? They are all counted down to! We’ve all at one time or another stayed up to watch the big Ball drop from Times Square on TV, circled a date on the calendar with the word beach or vacation in it, and I guarantee your children (and their teachers) have been counting down to this week! With any countdown, comes anticipation. In my household, the countdown to building our new home has been going on for 12 years! Now that’s it’s underway and we can see the progress each day, our excitement is building to a point that I’m not sure if my wife and children are going to make it until we get to move in! So now I must ask….”Are You Pondering What I’m Pondering? Matthew 25:13 says, “Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man comes.” Now that’s an event we can all get excited about!
