Wednesday Word for January 12th

Hello, WBFJ friends! I hope that your 2011 is off to a fabulous start and that you’ve been able to stay safe during this wintry weather! As I watched a city scraper truck cruise down my street yesterday, I couldn’t help but thank God for the man driving that truck. I assumed that the guy was probably feeling tired after working long hours. On most days, he probably doesn’t feel like he really makes much of a difference in the world. However, as a single mom who needed to get her child safely to daycare and herself to work, I wish I could have run out the door to tell the guy how much his work means to me. As I said a grateful prayer for the driver, I also asked God to help me become more active in expressing my genuine appreciation for the people around me who impact my life in meaningful ways. That being said, thank YOU for your support of WBFJ! I pray that this station blesses your life as much as it blesses mine!

Your friend,
Lana
