Wednesday Word for January 19th

Recently I heard of an extraordinary act of sportsmanship. It happened during a basketball tournament where the player voted the Most Valuable Player of the tournament later gave his trophy to the player he felt was more deserving. In fact, a few weeks later, he went to the college campus and presented the other player the award. In the fast-pace highly competitive world of sports it's nice to see sportsmanship exemplify in this manner. Rarely do you see an act like this.
Fortunately for you and I, God does not treat us as we deserve (Psalm 103:10);  instead he chooses to bless us immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine most importantly with the promise of heaven (Ephesians 3:20).

Go and serve today with an attitude of gratitude because of what others and most importantly what God has done for you!

Blessings,
Kurt
